Drift Ghost 4K Brings Stabilization, Modular Add-Ons, and Wealth of Updates

by on September 3, 2016

Drift is set to launch the Ghost 4K soon with a good list of new features. The newer model is designed to deliver better resolutions and frame rate options including 4k at 30fps, 2k at 60fps, and 1080p 120fps. One of the more interesting designs is the cameras ability to take advantage of modular additions. Think of it as the GoPro Hero expansion slot. This new space will allow the camera to benefit from an LCD screen or additional battery support, should the user need it. Gyroscopic Stabilization is being added in but I, am unsure what limitations will come into play when using it. A new dual microphone system aims to deliver better sound at speeds plus a rotatable lens with a large capacity battery are returning as well.

You can find a complete list of specs, features, options for the Drift Ghost 4K below. No word on pricing or launch date at this time.
